Uwe Rahn: the Mannheim-born forward came to Berlin in 1990 as a major hope. But the once highly praised striker never lived up to expectations at Hertha. In 21 appearances he managed only five goals, missed training repeatedly through injury and otherwise kept himself apart from team affairs. At the end of the season Hertha were relegated and Rahn moved on quietly to Düsseldorf.
